Whats wrong with the guy being p!ssed about his car not working? He isnt bashing Sharif/Forged saying it is there fault he is just venting his frustrations. All the people saying calm down should go through something like this before being so quick to tell somebody to chill. Im positive Sharif will take care of it, but that alone doesnt make the situation suddenly positive.

Just trying to make him feel a little better - looking forward to ZdayZ instead of dwelling on not having the car.

Dil sorry to hear bout your pain. I've been through the same thing in the past.

Kinda goes with what i've always said about a tuner....location means a lot to me. Kinda sucks that your tuner is several 100 or 1000miles away.

I'm sure FP will sort it out.

but, i don't think it's the actual clutch in this instance...

Well Alberto...when I tell Dil to calm down, he knows I am telling him in a nice way. I never though for a second that he was bashing Sharif....I am just telling him that we will help him get through this.

I have gone through this many times...maybe not with the G...but with a car (the one Luie wants ) that kept sucking my wallet.

Hell...I have to make sure Dil's car is up and going ....he is the main person behind the Big Dawg event.

anyone who has ever modded a car to any meaningful level has gone through it, so of course we all feel his pain. Having things break or suddenly become non functional at inopportune times is part of modding

Thanks Mike, I am just a little pissed at the entire situation. As Alberto stated I am not bashing FP or Sharif in any way. I am just explaning my hardships. Im sure everthing will be taken care of, but I just didn't think that it would be like this.

Keep your chin up buddy, it sucks now, no question there, but it will be so worth it when your blasting down that runway at Zdayz .

Default Update

Well the car arrived at Forged Performance last friday, and my clutch arrived there monday. Sharif said the car will be worked on this week, hopefully it will be done by next week but who knows.

There are other various small things that need to be done as well, that weren't completed the first time.

-Tune has to be fixed, the car wouldn't start in the other maps.

-Catch can install

-Adjust ride height amd realign

-Re install Clutch/ Inspect Transmission

-maybe flush out the coolant and run Evans NGP+

So the compramise that Sharif proposed is that I pay 1/2 shipping, pay labor for clutch install, and pay airline ticket to pick up...
So in the end it comes out of my pocket again, and I never even drove the car.
Hopefully this car will be done next week...

Default Update 4/22

Well the clutch issue is all fixed and everything is set. Now just changing out to the Evans NGP+ coolant.

What happend was the flywheel bolts came undone.... and the flywheel was barely even on . So Sharif fixed the issue, installed the new ATS TRIPPLE CARBON clutch, new trans cause couple pieces broke on mine (no charge), and now just finishing touches. I am flying down there MAY 2nd to drive it back.

Sharif also mentioned that this fixed the startup issue, but even when I held down the safety switch... my car would only start on my race map and not my other two maps, hopefully this will all be fixed and perfect for ZdayZ

Downside:
-I have to pay twice for a clutch install when it only should have been one time.
-Pay half of shipping down there.
(Shipping btw runined my front bumper that I had freshly repainted and resurfaced )
-Money coming out of my pocket when nothing was my fault.

Im sure Sharif will chime in and give a detailed explanation to what happend but this is what I know as of right now.

Well hopefully you can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel Dil. Look forward to seeing that car fly on the runway.

Glad the car is back in business. That was quick work. Why you going down so early? Then driving all the way back to MI, then coming all the way back again May 15?

Yup, I am doing that so I can put the break in miles on the car. Also my roomates just dropped out of the cabin, so I dont have a place yet. I plan to stay in Atlanta till ZdayZ I have family down there that I can stay with... SO then I can leave with the Forged crew.

ANYONE HAVE A OPEN ROOM???????????

D350Z10: I Know how u feel man. You ship your car across country for the best service, its its a kick in the face when it slaps you down. Dont really know what u can do man... I havnt read this thread, i just saw the post. Id say whoever installed the clutch is at fault and u shouldnt have to pay a cent. But you rarely get people warrentying anything these days, they always blame it on something else or shitty parts.

Sigh.
