"Here's something odd about Vinny's analysis.......He said that the motor was running on 2 cylinders and that the front 4 weren't even spinning due to the snapped crank."
Did Vinny actually say this, or was this a misinterpretation of what was said???
If he did say this (I don't know if he did or not), just pause for a moment and think about that... The cams are connected to the front of the crank. If the the front of the crank is not turning, the cams would not be turning. If the cams are not turning, the back 2 cylinders could not run.
Perhaps Vinny said something else. Does anyone have any clarification on this?

the video was long so JZ edited the video as far as running vinny didn't mean driving the car the engine was still able to crank when turning the key. hope this helps.
So that means the back two pistons were moving only when being cranked by the starter, but the cams were not moving and the back two cylinders were not running.
That makes much more sense.

Nice goat. Fortunately, I haven't had any interactions with the goats.
It does make you wonder what was going on when this pic was taken?!?!?!?!?

he was a long time SGP Supporter... worse than Robert K.. however he is talking about getting a new tune and what not and makes no mention of SGP so maybe he moved on to a new shop
I think some people owe Taurran an applogy after reading this thread. Wasn't he one of the first to alert everyone to JT's business ethics? There was a guy from out of state that also couldn't get a hold of JT while his car was there being built at JT's shop who was bashed to no end when he started gettigng concerned about his car and JT's business practices.
There were a lot of warning signs that JT wasn't operting his shop in a reputable fasion. All but a few suppliers wouldn't even do business with him in the end. Just goes to show you that the shop fan boys don't allways create an environment conducive to having the truth told. Many people won't post the truth for fear of being on the receiving end of what amounts to a character assasination by internet.
I think he started out with good intentions as all business ventures do but somewhere along the way took the wrong path and started screwing people. I hope Coach makes a full recovery and it happens soon enough.
One thing I have learned through opening businesses is that you should never take on a partner, and you must be 100% completely involved in all aspects of your business. This is a really hard way to learn that lesson.
