LOLZ

I don't think Intense, Injected Performance, or SP are the ones here who are worried.

If/when Forged builds it's first 1,000 whp Z or G, I'm sure the "Forged Army" will think a 1,000+ whp VQ has plenty of merit. Nobody (excpet for Hal) said that a 1,000+ whp VQ is for everyone. But if you guys insist on questioning and debating "the merits" of 1,000+ whp, you should do so in your own thread instead of douching up another shop's build thread.

These new turbos are only rated at 680 HP each as opposed to the 700 for what we are currently using...... They should still easily eclipse 1000 if not 1100!! I might have some 40 psi dyno results for you guys next week!!

This is all I care about, the rest of this is useless banter. Good luck to you guys, this has been my favorite FI build to date.

I notice that there's a few details missing in the thread: head studs?, head gasket?, and MORE PICS PLEASE. How hard is it to swap out turbos on this thing - have to drop the motor?

HKS gaskets, L19 headstuds, took an hour to get both turbos off. Probably take 1.5 to get them back in.

All the details of the build are in this thread:

Ahh - thanks. VERY NICE. To save everyone the trouble looking for more pics, let me quote one of your best pic posts from that thread for everyone's viewing pleasure.

SP or Charles.....The OEM plenum has a slight slope from back to front and way way back when, everyone was saying that it was not good because of uneven flow of air to the cylinders. I see that the CJM one does the same thing even more drastically from back to front. Can you explain why this one would be good opposed to the design of the OEM one.

if there is any problem with the stock manifold that is related to the slope in the roof, it would only be if the plenum roof is shrouding the front cylinders. however, as far as i have seen, it is all speculation anyway. but either way, our intake has plenty of clearance over the runner inlets not to shroud them.

WOOOW ....hold up..Jorge, Eric and the AZ gang knows better than to think that I would be knocking anything that SP has done. That shop lets their work speak for itself...I was just responding to a question that someone asked about why more shops dont build 1000whp cars.

In my response I was trying to say that 1000 is wayyyyyy too much for me and I would not be able to use it...thought about it once...just once Eric and Jorge...you know better than that.
