Default Forged Performance: Another JWT 850bb with Greddy Intercooler Setup

Just wrapped another one of these hybrid JWT850bb coupled with Greddy Intercooler setups. All of the piping was modified and created in house, and we switch to the more typical twin intake setup. The customer originally had the complete JWT 530bb Kit on the car, and like many us...eventually wanted more power.

We have found that after about 500whp or so, the JWT intercooler setup is too restrictive to continue making good efficient power. Moving to the large core Greddy intercooler gives us all the overhead we need.

Key Components:

Forged Performance S1 Shortblock
JWT C2 Camshafts
Fcon Vpro Complete EMS with Knock Amp
HKS 1000cc Injectors
Carbonetic Triple Disc Clutch

Just thought I would share.

Looks great Sharif, but out of pure curiosity, wouldn't a intercooler similar to APS be a much better choice for an application like this, Why the Greddy?

I see excellent workmanship everywhere - nice! Chris's handywork? Nice custom coolant tank? But a stock radiator/fans? Upgrades coming after the summer heat!

Chris fabricated the resevoir...nearly robotic quality welding.

This customer is a really nice fellow. Admitedly, he is a little scared of the power. He doesnt stay in the power long enough to tax the cooling system...yet.

We also added Toyo R888's to his setup, and with the slower spooling 850bb turbos, we think he will actually have traction now.

The Greddy IC is HUGE...With the 850BB you need the biggest

the best thing to do is get a 17" wheels, set of Mickey thomson Drag radials tires. and ur gonna be ok

those can hold 800whp on the street easy

Any plans to sell an off the shelf Greddy IC/Intake kit for the JWT 850BB guys? I might need one next year and your shop is a 20+hr drive for me

The welds on the tank look incredible, but I know that setup has more that 600whp in in, even on your dyno .

Nice job Sharif and crew. I do ultrasound weld inspection for a living, and I must say, those welds look really clean. If only all the welds I inspected looked like that!!

Exhaust set up? Using the stock JWT downpipe cast iron pieces? I have several reasons for asking unrelated to this build , but I like the way power comes on so early. I might just consider the 850bb at some point.
