Forged Performance: Insane 350z Roadster Build...quest for the FI's Top 5
I am 100% sure the RaceLogic TC will fix the problem...because I have driven a car with the same kind of power on crappy tires and I could not spin the car.
After speaking to Ryan about the OP,s car.....they feel that his setup will not react the same way and will give the OPs car better traction at higher boost. Its not my whp thats causing my issue...its the dramatic ramp up.
A great product, I will try to put some video's on forums in the spring, blizzard out there right now.
^ ya the price is super cheap considering. I am really surprised it is not widely used by the autox guys!
If my setup wasnt soo laggy, I'd get one for sure. But when you only make 300 hp at 5000 rpms, not much to worry about traction wise. I can use the haltech TC to keep it straight enough
LOL

I run racelogic tc PnP from Advancedme, cost me 800 pounds sterling, totally worth it, i used to be unable to hook on the street even with nitto nt05r. The racelogic unit is very easy to use once you gain a basic understanding, I have roughly 600rwhp, once the turbo is spooled it would have slipped like crazy, but with the racelogic it lets the tire slip between 0-20%, what ever my setting is at the time. The best part about the kit is the full throttle turns, 20psi in corner and no slipping, took a lot of getting use to. The unit from Advanced doesn't allow for full throttle shifts, it comes with launch and tc, it is the can controller meant for the car. takes 15 min to install all nicey nice, than about 10 min to dial it in.

reading more and more about this race logic unit has me highly intrigued... I really would love to see some videos and hear more end user reviews. But driving a base model I can only push so hard right now...
Should get the GTM c caps and main girdle. I implore you.

a properly setup Haltech can also mimic this as well. YOu are just cutting igntion based on wheel speed differentials
Good idea as I am not sure if that pricing is for dealers or end users.

does it matter that my car is a base when getting the racelogic traction control? since it doesnt already have any type of traction control at all?

***UPDATE***
Hey guys, I hope everyone enjoyed their New Years festivities. I thought I would post up a few new pictures of the car as it stands right now. It's been too long since I posted an update! The motor and heads are just about ready to be assembled and the JRZ coilovers should be going in next week. While we were waiting we decided to clean up Mark's engine bay, with his approval of course
We stripped down the front end as bare as we could get it and painted it to match the exterior of the car. We're pretty happy with the end result! Let us know what you think. Pictures below.
(don't kill me on the picture quality, my camera was having a hard time focusing with the current lighting)

Yea, that's a lot better!! Thanks Ryan!
And thanks to you and Sharif for lunch yesterday. Wish I could have stuck around to see the paint go on, but I'll be back.
It was also nice or you guys to make me feel so at home when I visited by making sure the weather was just like Wisconsin! Hope the thaw comes soon for you... As I mentioned, once the snow and ice melt, if you miss it too much you are always welcome up by me.
Appreciate the great work Ryan!

that actually makes me sad considering how long my wait was/is. My parts were ordered June 6th and due to backordered parts the motor is still on the to be assembled list.
Thats excellent news for you though!
