Cleaned up the basement a little, finally found the terminals I was looking for, too bad I can't use the positive without some surgical procedures.

Got a set of FREE headers that were laying around in my shop! Then got an S Tune exhaust for a whopping $300! (some dumb dumb swapped out the tips at the back... doh. They look great but his welding wasn't the best... Going to fix that).
Got bored this evening and installed!
I can now understand what everyone raves about with the exhaust... It's magnificent! Coming from a Z1 single, it's amazing how quiet a 3in. system is... The tone is amazing.
Headers will go on after I get them thermal coated, scoop some HFC's, and pick up intake/spacer/tuning equipment... Kind of do it all in one shot.

Yeah. I'm debating running them at all. Probably just wait it out for long tubes. If I'm going to go through the pain in the butt, may as well do it up.
A pair of PPE headers would be sweet. They are probably a pain to install!

I would be scared to put the free headers on also, but theu will look cool hanging on a wall or something, and that s tune was a good deal.

Go big or go home?
The headers are going to just be wall art, methinks. Magnet test says the flanges aren't stainless, and it kinda sticks to the "stainless" runners... PASS

Removed and repaired the front bumper. Actually came out better than I thought. Fixed all 4 broken tabs and the fat tear in the front.

Today I drive my 2003 Z with 162,000 miles on it, to visit my in the hospital. The trip was 117 miles. After refueling, I did the math and came up with 26 mpg. This was after driving over 130+ mph in some areas of the trip. I was impressed that she still can run that well.
For those that are thing that I am putting other in harm, I'm in Germany. That's a typical speed.

Well I finally got around to installing my Torque Solution Short Shifter and so far my only complaint is the stiffness in neutral. I followed an install guide and it said to put lithium grease around the fulcrum point inside of the new shifter socket cup, so I did....no luck. I'm hoping that since the socket cup is brand new plastic that it will soon break in and make the shifter easier to move. Also, I installed a Brake Master Cylinder Brace from Z1 and I'm very pleased with that product. Simple install and performance gain is noticeable.
