I'm fairly tight with the Z Club peeps in TX (organizers, yeah, I know its TN.. they decided to do it in Nashville this year). I really wish I could make this event. Since I have a ton of fam there, this couldnt be easier.. but I doubt I'll be able to make it.

However, Nashville is pretty awesome (for a southern city, it's really got alot going for it). Zcon or not. Even if Zcon came up short for you, there's still so much to do, you'd have a good trip. That is if you can get thru memphis without busting a wheel.

Anyway, if youre going there's a party I heard about, I can get you an invite. it may be open/public anyway, so thats that not a big deal, just saying there's a pre-conv shindig.

 

Cool, though I'd hate for you to have to do that if you all are going to C-ville. Remember I can't go do anything past 6 as I have a birthday party to go to.

Im the one who should be apologizing to TJ for not coming out Saturday. If the meet was earlier I wouldve gone. Its like 1:40-2hrs away, so I wouldve only been out der for n hour and turn around and come back home.

Plus I had to wake up early and then go to Tulsa the nxt day.

FSM says 40 ft lbs, how did you accomplish this?

 

I didn't have access to fsm.... I certainly over tqed em if FSM only calls for 40lb-ft... how do I fix?

Well, I took one bolt from the other side and put it in the hole I "knew" was facked and it worked. I was able to bolt it down. So I'll go tomorrow and order a seat bolt.

Off topic, Tim, thank you for advising me about bangswanger glass (or however you spell it) Their facility is clean. They allowed me to be in the shop as they did the work & even answered my questions without huffin nor made me feel stupid like most "shops" typically do. They also didn't charge me. So I paid for the worker's lunch. They fixed my weather strippin problem and it seems to be holdin well.
They said no charge cause if I ever need a window replaced to please remember them. And I will be doin just that when the time comes.
I also noticed that they had a plexi glass cutter in the shop. I asked about it and asked if they could customize one for say a subwoofer box. They said they could. Which I thought for bein some old dudes in their they keep up with the times.
They treated me w/ courtesy and respect and I recommend anyone that needs home or auto glass work to visit them first.
