2 men are on opposite ends of the Earth, one is walking a tight rope between 2 office buildings 85 floors up. The other is getting a BJ from an 85 year old toothless woman...
They are both thinking the same thing... what is it?

J we can design a system for you for sure. i can get you bass that'll blow the glass but that's another story. a sub is only as good as it's enclosure. I had cheap $70each quantum subs 10" 's in a custom ported box and lets just say i had to turn down the gain so much as the rear window seal was at it's limit. I would def get components! i would not worry at all about the rears, i would use fatmat over dynamat(same **** and will save you some money). I have a batcap still which is a small battery/cap worked awesome as my sub amp (over1,000 watts) and some hella draw to it. I ran 0 gauge but that's me
you'd be fine w/smaller as the 0 is way overkill.
1. kenwood headunit, they have garmin nav which is by far the best.
2. fatmat
3. wire kit, dont forget speaker wire, rca's,remote, power, ground, terminals, distribution blocks, fuse block, etc. I wouldnt waste my money on a optima until yours goes bad.
4. component set (door pods are nice)as the factory door grilles have over half of the holes filled, pop one off and check. plus the pods will stage your components and you wont have to hack up your factory tweeter pods.
5. subs or sub
6. sub enclosure IMO i dont care for prefab understrut boxes as they dont have crap for air space?
How about like a JL13W6? if we can make that fit and throw a ton of powa on it you'll def be heard. Anyway when your really ready to get started let me know and we can go over some things. I can cover things and do fiberglass/bondo
but not sure if all that could fit in your budget. If you want/need help def let me know, ive helped a few w/their audio installs.

Adam, thanks for helpin! I'll need it for sure. Yea, air space was my main concern when it came to those boxes. I'd also love a ported box. But my main number 1 goal is to not exceed past the rear of the strut. I've seen this one box on ebay that has two 10's firing up toward the ceiling and the box fits right between the front of the strut bar and the plastic cubby hole holder. But it blocked rear view visibility. It seems that under strut boxes are my only option. I thought about contacting Z-enclosures and having him making a box custom fit for the two 10's I want. I noticed all his boxes seem to not fully go all the way back (touching the plastic cubby hole holder) I figured maybe if he built me one and I told him to use that extra space between the strut and the plastic holder that I could get the best of both worlds.
