Post OKC--Open Track Day roster for June 22nd

Hey guys,

June 22nd is just a few days away, so I would like to ask you all to help QC the roster. Most of you have confirmed that you want your slot carried over to June 22nd, but I want to make sure no one slips through the cracks after the confusion over the postponement from last month. Also this roster includes folks who couldn't make the May date but contacted me for June's date. If you have a buddy you signed up who can't make it, please let me know as well. I have not taken the fees in advance in an effort to make this as hassle free for the participants as possible, all I ask is a little help letting me know who will not be able to show due to the postponement.

Bryce H --- 350Z
Jason C --- 350Z
Patrick S --- G35
Andy R --- G35
Bobby B --- 280ZX
Anthony H --- Mustang
John T --- GT500
Jesse J --- STi
Joshua I --- WRX
Thomas H --- STi
Ryan A --- STi
Blake G --- WRX
Skyler S --- S2000
Kory M --- S2000
Dartanyan I --- S2000
Chad H --- Civic
Sean F --- Mazdaspeed3
Jordan H --- RX-7

If you are reading this and want to come, please contact me to reserve a slot. Email ljs96076@yahoo.com and include your full name, make/model, and a good contact # that you can be reached. As you can see there are still a handful of slots left but I do not expect them to last to sunday morning the 22nd.

Thanks and I look forward to seeing everyone out on the track having a great time.

Thanks to you for coming out! Actually two Z32's have jumped onboard. I'm just not updating the list on all the sites I have been advertising this. I'm more concerned with who is on the list that won't be able to make it.

Sadly my car is not ready to get back on the track again. I probably won't be able to put the big brakes on until closer to the end of the month, maybe over July 4th.

So you're not going to run? That's a shame

How hard is this track on brakes? I don't have a bbk but I'm changing out my rotors, pads, and fluid the day before....

Not too bad, OEM Z32 brakes are notorious for getting overheated and fading on Z32TT's. You should be fine with fresh pads/fluid.

DAMN! Awesome shots Jason! I was hoping someone would have a camera capable of and knew how to capture motion shots like that. Well done! Would you mind if I shared the link to those with the other groups who were out there? Look forward to seeing you next month!

Thank you for the kind words!! It was my first attempt at panning shots and I was really hoping some would turn out decent! I got a lot of practice in yesterday.... I think next time I may have to increase the shutter speed a little... especially on the faster cars... they were really hard to get in focus because they were moving so fast....

By all means share the photos! I still have more to post to my flickr account... I don't like how flickr photos are all practically thumbnail sized.... but they make it easy to upload a ton of photos at a time... I will try to post some higher res pictures of the better shots or if I get any specific requests...

I really had a great time... we had a great turnout... a great field of cars... everyone was driving respectably.... I think we had a habitual cone killer and a few people go offroading... but it was such a blast! I'm definitely looking forward to next time...

A big thank you again LJ for organizing everything and running the show!

Flickr should keep full-size copies of whatever you upload, just for casual viewing purposes there are shrunk down. I keep all my photos from the last year or so there to free up the space on my old PC. But I paid for the unlimited account too, so maybe that's why.

Looks like you have the panning shot down fairly good, a semi-pro told me once just to make sure to turn with the hips and not the shoulders and that was 90% of it. Came out great, I need to pick up a quality digicam like that before my vacation next month.
