Performance Driving School in SE?
I am looking for recommendations on any performance driving schools in the South East. I live in South Carolina but am not adverse to traveling for a few days at the right school. Thanks in advance.

i REALLY recommend all the THSCC/TZC events. speaking of...we are at CMP near Camden, SC this weekend. If you have the time, you should come by on Saturday or Sunday, see what it is like, and maybe even catch a ride with someone.
of course...all these are HPDE's, with you driving your own car. if you mean something like Skip Barber, keep looking.
Hope that helps.

If ya got the cash do the BMW performance school up hear in Greenville/Spartanburg
I got a taste of it a few years ago and i am planning on doing the full two day school when i gt the rest of the funds together.
NOW i know a bmw isn't a z, but hell they let you do slick skid pad, and some track stuff. IMO it's the best in SC.
Cheers

There are many great ones out there, and Triangle Z is one of them. Make sure you also check out Chin Motorsports as you will get your own instructor with them and you will not be rushed and get more track time than you could ever want. It is worth the few extra $. They are also hosting the ZCON at Sebring in Sept.
They also attract pro race teams to test and tune their cars (pretty cool to watch them go around track and to talk to the teams), they also have a number of Grand-AM and Speed World Challange drivers instruct for them.

No unfortunately I didn't . All my luck I caught a screw (not the fun kind so keep your minds out of the gutter ) in my rear tire. Took me till this morning to get it replaced. Hopefully my luck will improve though and I can make it to the next one.

You also get to use BMW's cars so no issues with breaking your own.
