Welcome home!!! Glad you made it back.

We typically have a variety of meets each year...mountain drives, track days, dinner/happy hour meets etc. Lots of chances to come out and have fun with your Z and meet fellow owners.

Sorry to hear about you heading over to Iraq, have you been over there before? When are you heading back over there?

Thanks for the welcome, I just got in a couple days ago from Ft Hood, TX... and coming back to 5000 ft ASL is really disheartening, as the Z has lost A LOT of power compared to what it had at sea level. I'm about to start shopping for minor bolt-ons to try and recoup on at least some of the power I lost, does anyone have any recommendations for parts that will net a decent gain at this altitude? I'm about to order a KJR pulley, MD 5/16th spacer & a popcharger, anything else I should check out that's reasonably priced (can't afford an F/I setup just yet, lol)?

What you are ordering will help out a lot. The only other thing I would do is test pipes and a true duel exhaust system. I have pretty much the same setup(HKS exhaust, short ram intake, and Kinetic Plenum). I am still losing about 20 hp compare to a stock z at sea level. I have order the KJR pulley and aps test pipes, hopefully I get those parts before this weekend. The only other thing I would consider doing, since one day I would like to go FI, is an ecu upgrade like a UTEC but some FI kits come with pretty good piggy back management systems.

Arctic: First welcome back again. As far as mods I gained 17whp and 10wtq with the mods in my sig and for onnly $800. I highly recommend these mods. Check out this thread for dynographs: https://my350z.com/forum/2003-2009-nissan-350z/174222-gained-17rwhp-and-10rwtq-n-a.html
Next on my list is the TurboXS UTEC.

Robert_K: Nice gains! I just ordered a popcharger, MD 5/16th spacer & KJR pulley, I'm hoping to see a noticable improvement. I'll definately look into test pipes as my next mod, as your combo seemed to work well together. If you happen to pick up a UTEC and get dyno tuned, please share your results, as I would love to see what kind of gains a mildly modded Z would see at this altitude. Hope to see you at a meet sometime.

First: Thanks!!! I think you'll enjoy everything you ordered all ready. When I was running the same set-up w/o TP the power was mid/top-end power. A buddy even thought it felt like VTEC. LOL I would really consider some TP or HFC to give back the low-end power.
As far as the UTEC, I will share the gains! Nick, at Mac Autosport, and I are very interested in tuning a N/A 350 with the UTEC. Hopefully I get it soon as it really is the only thing I'm interested in right now.
