I've also seen posts on this forum regarding this issue. and was going to mention this to them when I place my next order.

Guess it's a mystery...
Think I'm gonna use the EBC Redstuff that Will suggested. I honestly don't feel comfortable spending $150+ for front pads alone that might be used once or twice. I can order F&R EBC pads for $150.
EDIT:
David,
Don't know if you want to post this in the orignal post but I started a thread for a Tech Day at my home: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....34#post3295834 Thanks!!!

I'll be driving down from Denver the night before...I've learned the hard way what it's like to get up at 5am to make it to the track on time. No fun.

So what is required for safety equipment? Some of the clubs vary wildly on this point and I just wanted to check.
Tech inspection (self, club, mechanic)
Seat belts (OEM, harness)
Helmet (any, SA2000)
Clothing (doesn't matter, cotton long sleeve shirt / pants, Nomex?)
Eye protection (none, glasses, face shield)
Roll bar (none, harness bar, 4pt roll bar, full roll cage)
Corner workers (none, participants, dedicated)

-Each participant is responsible for doing their own tech inspection and making sure their car is in excellent shape.
-OEM seatbelts are obviously the minimum standard.
-Helmets...sigh...this has always been an issue. I'd like to see SA2000 as a minimum, but will accept an automotive or motorcycle helmet for this course.
-Comfortable clothing (jackets and long pants will be needed), including flat bottom shoes.
-Eye protection is optional, as is the roll bar or cage.
-We have not had corner workers, tow trucks or ambulances for any of these events. After four years and multiple HPDEs, we've never needed them either!
