Yeah, but somehow I would expect a firefighter's nomex hood to be a bit more 'serious' than a racer's (and therefore thicker and less likely to fit inside of a racing helmet), since you guys KNOW that you'll be walking into a fire, and we do everything possible to avoid it.

Only one more week to go and here's the list:

1. JGray (confirmed)
2. Mspivey (confirmed)
3. Dave 90TT (confirmed)
4. Robert K (confirmed)
5. Casuale17 (confirmed)
6. Amarao (confirmed)
7. Bamyi (confirmed)
8. Abishop (possible)
9. Funkeymonkey1111 (possible)
10. Kaiser (?)

Tomorrow (Friday) I'll be sending each of the confirmed entries the seven (out of twelve) page syllabus via e-mail. The other five pages are reprints from past articles and will be passed out at the track. For those who are confirmed, please PM with your e-mails if they are not part of your public profile.

BTW- I'll be out of town testing the new B16 Se-R from Sunday through Tues (March 5-7), so I may not be available to answer any PMs or e-mails. If you are going to enter this HPDC, NOW is the time to send your check and confirm your entry! Next week is coming up fast!

Bamyi- fixing your DS window motor is not critical, but it is a pain to have to keep opening your door to get feedback!

We have a release up at nissansportmag.com on the test at PIR this weekend. But it's the following Friday that I'm REALLY looking forward to!

I was going to come just to hang out but my work is sending someone over who does service for me in the Aspen area for some training all next week so I can't even skip out on a day.
Hope you all have a great time!!!

Brian- Sorry you can't make it. I knew you build was going to be close, but I thought you had enough pull over at TC's to get 'er done! LOL

We need to get you out again sometime soon. It's been at least two years since your LeMans Sunset had any time at Pueblo. It's also the last time EVER we had three track models running in a Z freight train. Which reminds me, Peterputter (Don) pulled his disappearing act again! He never came on this thread to even mention any interest. Guess he figured he got his money's worth out of his helmet...

David,
I have been talking with Don recently as he called me about trying to line him up with a good exercise bike, I guess he and his fiancee were looking for one. (Yes, I found out he is getting married this summer). He ended up buying one, but didn't take me up on a special deal I offered him on one, instead choosing to go to our stores and buy one there instead. He called me yesterday to tell me how much he loved the bike.

I mentioned this very event to him a few weeks ago, he said he was aware of it, but I am guessing he chose not to attend. He did say he had been driving his car alot and thought he had seen Justin driving around a few times since I believe they live close by. Maybe he will come out this summer, who knows?

As for me, there has been a change of plans for my project, thats why my pull at TC's is not helping me. (As if I had any pull anyway....)

Weather forecast continues to look stellar! Warmer temps on the way after Saturday and on into next week. We should have an excellent day to work with on Friday. Get some rest everybody, we'll all need to be relaxed and alert for a day of education and fun!

Anyone interested in grabbing some breakfast at IHOP before heading to the track? There is one on the way, about 4 miles from the track. IHOP Map. I would think if we all met at 6:15am we should be out of there by 7:30am. Plenty of time to get to the track and start class at 8am.

Springs Drivers: Anyone interested in meeting up in Fountain? There is a 7-11 right off of I-25 & Exit 128 in Fountain. Its looks like at 25min drive (Map) to the IHOP. We could meet at 7-11 at 5:40am to cruise down together.

Let me know.

EDITED: Updated with 7-11 address and map.

David, I've been lurking on this thread for a while as I expected I was going to have to be out of town on Friday. As of this moment, it looks like the trip is off. Can I still sign up to bring my 240z down?

I believe that David's out of town and incommunicado for the next couple of days, so don't take it personally if you get a delayed response.

For what it's worth, I'd think you'd still be okay to go, expecting the possibility of some last-minute logistical hurdles to deal with for signing up and paying since this one is slightly more official than our previous 'whoever shows up just pays when we get there' arrangements.

I hope you're able to make it out, as it's always a blast to see your car on track.

Thanks Gary, it looks like a great event, and the weather should cooperate as well.
