Default DWI in Arizona

My stupid a$$ brother-in-law got a DWI last night in Avondale. He rear-ended someone @ 2 am. Hes not talking so I am not sure what he blew.

Can anyone tell me the legal limits, and the possible total cost with lawyer fees, ect, thanks. I am just curious. Hes such a dumba$$!

We helped him thru his bankruptcy lawyer fees, but not this time, hes on his own. Thats one thing I don't tolerate!

He needs an intervention! You can not bail him out.

plus the fact that insurance probably won't cover the claim for the damage!

WOW, he has $7K saved up and no CC's due to his Bankruptcy a few months ago. Guess you could say he's fukced!

I told my wife we are not helping him one bit, and thankfully she agreed!

Seriously, good call. I cannot stand the severe selfishness of those who choose to get on the roads while intoxicated. From, alcohol, drugs, whatever... There's absolutely no excuse for not taking a ride from a friend or just calling a cab, when the risk of ruining someone else's property or ending a life is so high. A drunk driver on his way home at 6am ran his Hummer H2 over my kid's nurse while she was on her way to my place to work. He crossed the lane, hit a truck and kept going in the wrong lane and ran right over her Pontiac. She was crushed and trapped inside for six hours and died on the side of the road.
Wtf was he thinking taking such a big risk, with so little consideration for everyone else on the road, with the penalties so high?!!? Don't bail him, it's time he takes responsibility and be held accountable for what he did.

A DWI is an inexcusable mistake, I definitely agree that it was the right thing to do to let him take on responsibility for his own actions this time around.
