Arroyo Seco Track Day
I'm looking into setting up a track day at Arroyo Seco track. It is $100/person for the track and we would have the whole track to ourself and do as we wish. 10 people is a good number.

Would anyone be interested?
This event is also opened to other car clubs in CA. These are the Porsche, Ferarri, and the likes. These guys have driving experience so they know what they are doing.
One of the guys who might show up is David which ownes Hookondriving.com. (He also drives a redline 350Z) This David is like our own David K. Racing and teaching is his passion and just as friendly.

I'm just getting a feeler first to see if ppl are interested. Some ppl from the other clubs might join but I was hoping to keep this a Z/G thing. I was assured that us noobs can come but I'll check.

Guys, I've raced at Arroyo Seco before and it's quite a drive from Denver (at least one FULL day and 600+ miles) to get there. If you're interested in a closer track day event, you might consider this one:

It's quite a bit closer, it's FREE and I'll be running the track day portion of the event with a format close to what you've all seen at PMP. There's a bit more to do in Albuequerque and Santa Fe. I'll try to put up a post on the event in the next week or so.

I have been there 5 times and if it was a Z/G event I'd probably go again. Ten cars would be $135 each. It's a narrow, tight track but there are no walls to hit. Atmosphere is very relaxed, Roger is a cool guy. You can basically do whatever the group wants to do - run it either direction, time attack, drift, etc.

If I can get a confirmed 10 ppl, I'll set this in motion and make it happen.
I speak from experience when I say this is a hard sell. I am behind you though and hope to see this happen. It would definetely be a long drive from CO, only about 3 hours from Tucson and 5 from Phoenix. Track is $1,200 + $15 per car, so the more that show = lower price. I tried something similar but was only able to get 3 people in AZ who were actually willing to put down a deposit.
Damn, Phu, that is a long ways away! 600 miles from the Springs.
I might be interested, depending on what day it is. I would certainly have to drive down on a Friday, race Saturday, and drive back up Sunday. Almost too much...
