That's too bad. I've been hoping that your recovery would accelerate, and that you'd be good to go this weekend. I'm sorry to hear your recovery isn't yet complete, but I completely agree with what you've heard about repeated concussions. I have a friend who used to play ice hockey, and was almost killed by a second concussion that came 6 months after his first. Safety first.

Good luck with the continued recovery. It'll be great if you can make it to the track to instruct this weekend, but obviously it's not worth pushing too hard during recovery. I hope to see you out there.

I’m In!!!!!!!!! Unfortunately it’s only because David is not able to drive this weekend.
Does anyone have an extra mounting bracket for the transponder this is all I’m missing.

After talking with Gary the other day, all our Z bros did well at the first SCCA Time Trial event. Gary (with only a front brake upgrade) was moved to OSP (Overwhelming Speed Pilot class?). This group was the second fastest after qualifying and had a lot of quick cars, but Gary held his own, running almost 1:24 flat! A few seconds back and winning first and second in B Stock, were Dennis and Alex. Congrats guys! You are continuing the legacy of the Z in fine fashion...

Next Time Trial event at Second Creek Raceway is scheduled for June 8-9th. They'll run clockwise on Saturday and counter on Sunday to provide some variety. Keep in mind that everyone running these events is eligible for the season championship if you race at least three of the five events. Good luck!
