Anyone here going to the San Diego Comic Con this weekend?

I usually go to a dinner down there held by CGC annually but I don't know if I am going this year.

 

I been Comic con last 5 yrs in a row. But I have no time to go this yrs

 

I went last year, it was pretty cool, but this year I can't make it. I was hoping to drive my Z down there too, oh well, I'm way to busy this month.

 

what is comic con?

 

I'll probably be there on Saturday.

 

It is a convention in San Diego held anually to promote Comic Books, Movies, Video Games, Bored Games, Manga, Anime, etc.

They usually have some playable video game titles that aren't out yet.

They also have training session you can go to and learn about things like, 'How to make your own bored games' and 'How to become a voice actor'.

I had fun last year and was invited for free, so it was all good. I also got to meet the creators of www.penny-arcade.com. I used to read that webcomic, so it was cool at the time.

its one of the biggest comic conventions in the US. Theres basically going to be comics, anime, CCGs, video games etc. A lot of celebrities usually show up too to promote TV shows and movies.

 

im not aloud within 10 miles of comic con

 

Now THAT is a story I'd like to know more about...

 

nah i just buy comics like a fiend, so i avoid them at all costs, if i went to comic con id blow a couple grand without even thinking of it
