I'm coming home to LA from my current location in Connecticut and I'd love to meet some of you all and see some West Coast Z's.

Are there any meets for this week or this weekend?

I understand there may be some rain, but how about later in the week?

 

Well, we can get something going if there's enough interest.

Went to Torrance Nissan to see the Murano, quite nice, and Peyton Cramer Infiniti to see the G35C, also very very nice.

 

Andrew, how long are you in town? List the dates!

I would hate for you have have gotten the worst hospitality from So Cal... We have so many Z owners that we should be able to meet and just hang out for an hour or 2. No problem.

Give us hard dates and we will see what we can do.

 

Dammit, 3 days in CA so far and I have only seen one Z. I spent most of the day at Hermosa today, taking some pics of the water. Big waves because of the storm. Nice clear weather too. A lot of people had these big jackets on and I heard more than a few comments about how cold it was. I was out and about in my jeans and a T-shirt. 65 and windy is a big big difference from 35 and snowing. Sometimes I think that leaving CA really made me appreciate what we have.

Let's see, tomorrow, I'm going to Jay Leno, compliments of AudioPat, then to my friend's end-of-the-year law school party. Friday I HAVE to do some Christmas shopping, so I'm off to Del Amo. If it's not too cold, maybe I'll hit Hermosa again at night. To be honest, I left CA after high school and I wasn't the most adventurous HS student, so I'm not that familiar with what there is to do at night. Any other suggestions? Saturday, my cousin is coming over and we're going to see Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers, probably somewhere in Torrance. My dad just bought a 55" TV, and it's suppposed to be delivered then, so I guess I'll help set it up. Sunday, I'm leaving back to dreary CT.

Only one and a half more years, then I'm back, but then again, that's what I said would happen after med school......

Hey Pat, I made the show. It was pretty close, we got to the studio at about 3:15, but ended up in the wrong lot. We ended up getting in the show alright, and got seated in the 2nd row, right in front of the stage for the band. I tried to get in touch with Andy, but the security people would have none of it and once the show started, it didn't seem like a good time.


Anyways, the show was pretty neat. Quite a different experience. I was surprised at the number of people who are involved to pull the whole thing off. Who are the 3 or so people who sit by the right of the stage? During the commercials, they would go up and whisper something in Leno's ear.

Sorry we couldn't meet up, thanks for the tickets!

Saturday is probably out, I think it's a big family day, not to mention Lord of the Rings!

 

Glad you enjoyed the show..there are about 150 staff and crew to put on the show each day..the people on the camera left side of the stage are the exec producer and head writer..see youn on your next trip

 

I haven't had a good chat with another 350Z owner yet... I would have loved to stop by.. but our team got stuck doing trauma call Saturday night... it's amazing how many people try to off themselves during the holiday season.

did you like the two towers? i saw it friday night and loved it.. can't wait for the next one.

We've been having a massive (for us) run on trauma lately also. Not really people trying to off themselves, more just people in a rush and not paying attention.

I'm at UC Irvine's Medical center (in Orange) doing a surgery prelim, and in july start my anesthesiology categorical... My surgery internship hasn't been that bad so far. I've had a good time so far.
