Default Colorado Connection

Hello everyone- I will be bringing my Redline track model out from Colorado for the Speedventures event at Buttonwillow on March 21st. I'll also be in L.A. on the 18th for business, but want to check out all that I can during the trip.

Anyone have any suggestion on Z-things to do and see in the area? I am NOT into the street racing scene, but any closed track or sporty drives available during the week would be much appreciated. Any Z-car meets happening that week or car museums you'd suggest? I have some sources working on a tour of Nissan HQ, but nothing is promised at this point.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions SoCal members can post.

If you stay in California through April 27th., you can join the fun at the Motorsport Auto 8th. Annual Z Car West Coast Nationals.
[They'll be a million, or therabout, Zs in attendance]

Hang around, meet Art.
Hang around, meet Dave.
Hang around, say howdy to Bob.

Default Willow Springs the next day!

Bob-

Thanks for the suggestions. I would love to stay in So. Cal. for the Z meet. However, that would entail being gone almost three weeks and might create more havoc than I can stand.

I did find another track event and it's right in the neighborhood. The Altima group is having a meet at Willow Springs the day after I run the Buttonwillow event. I'm trying to get registered for the track day on Saturday and THAT will seriously feed my 'need for speed'.

The only other factor to consider is our stormy spring weather. Since I'm driving my 350 down (and I won't have any snow tires on), I won't be heading back until the weather window is clear for at least a few days. So, never say never, I may still get to meet Art and Dave (not to mention having more Z fun with you)!

Bob: Wouldn't want that dk.

Bob: dk, FYI: There is a road course race the day before [Saturday] the big Sunday MSA event. If it's in the same area this year as last, it's a cone course and times measured by stopwatch to see who has the quickest times.

I wonder if dk the pro could handle the stiff competition? Hmmmm.
