Default those with light color rims

does your brake dust leave a slight stain on your spokes? My rims are pretty new, gold in color, and the brake dust left a slight stain in my spokes. I've tried an array of OTC wheel cleaners, clay bar, etc. Nothing seems to work.

Just got my HAWK pads today, so hopefully I can slow down all this brake dust, but what can I do about the existing stain?

are the rims textured? I used to get brake dust caught in the rim. Since it was textured, it'd be hard to get out. I had to use a brake dust solvent but i used it sparingly since its acidic. It eventually came out. if its STUCK in there, theres pretty much no hope.

after you find a way to clean them, wax the crapola out of them.

I had the same issue before on some Volks GT-U. It took a lot of elbow grease to get it off with wax but it worked. Then I wax the hell out of them so it will never happen again.

Thanks for dringing that up, That's what I end up using to get it off.
