Depending on how bad you finish is and the kind of defects you are needing/wanting removed you are looking at about $200 for some one to come out to your house and polish out your finish to a show car shine.
At may be more it may be less but that is in the ballpark. I offer a discount to forum members.

You can go to a local car wash and get your car detailed for half the price but the quality I provide is 10X better then you can get at these types of places.

depending on where in la you live id be happy to come out saturday and detail your car...takes about 1 to three hours depending on the condition of the paint...let me know...i used to detail cars all the time now i just do it for side money...125 range depending on what you want/need done...anyone else who is interested let me know...just keep in mind i am no longer doing it professionally so you would need to be at a house or apt that can supply a water hose and nearby electrical outlet within 15 feet...preferably a garage...

Hello,
DVFlyer who knows me from NorthAmericanMotoring told me about this thread. However I see that Barry(MaximusZTS) has already responded and because he's both a friend and colleague of mine, I don't want to be stepping on any toes--and would just like to say I can vouch for his high quality work. You won't be disappointed, that is unless you base the selection of your detailer solely on price and not what he can do for you.
$200 that he has offered is an incredible bargain, as a 350 would start at $400 if I were doing the job, and it wouldn't take 1 to 3 hours like the omegz--you'd have to allocate 8 to 12 hours and that's working only on your paint by machine, not interior work using both a rotary buffer and PC polisher.
In 1 to 3 hours, I could wash and claybar the car. Polishing the swirls and scratches out until it was flawless would take another 3 to 4 hours--and that's without using any products that would simply fill in your swirls. Barry uses the same system that I would use. Add another hour for applying 2 coats of wax, and you'd end up with a finish that shined like a gem stone..only to last as long as you took care of it---it'll go downhill fast if you don't properly take care of the finish..i.e take it to car washes or if you don't learn how to use the 2 bucket method to maintain your finish. That is, if your car looks bad due to neglect, hiring somebody to polish it will look only as good for as long as you continue to take care of it.
Btw, as for how did your paint become so bad?? You need to look at how you touch the paint. How often, and with what? This includes washing to daily or weekly maintenance. Finally, based on my own experience, Nissan paint is notoriously scratch sensitive so I'm not surprised at all.
Hope that helps.
Richard

well i do detail my car with top of the line products and equipment. how much are you willing to spend? i usually hand wash, polish, wax, finish with nice coat of sealant using porter cable 7428. if your car needs clay i'm sure you'll have to pay extra.
