autox events...where in socal?
hey i was reading up in the motorsports section, and i want to get better in driving, aside from tracking the car and learning at an hpde, where can i find autox events in socal?

www.gymkhanausa.com has one i think in november its like autocross mixed with drifting and grip ima be there again november

thanks for the links and advice guys. i live in fontana. didnt know cali speedway had autox events its like right next to me O_o. i always hear about the strip and only the strip.

Should be free to spectate. When you get there, talk to some of the drivers. You may be able to catch a ride with one of them on course to see what its like

a buddy of mine has an sti. but a suspended license... still driving it. he also still wants to take it to a track!! is there tracks where they let u in with-out having one??

okay so...i didnt know if i should make a new thread in the autox section, but it looks dead.
what this about clubs? i went to the solo2 site linked above...and for one their message board area is a wreck, and no where on the site does it explain the clubs thing. why do you need to be in one of the clubs? and hows it beneficial?

You do not need to join any of the local clubs in order to participate in the events. If you want to compete and earn points towards year-end trophies then you will need to join a club.
