Default which is the best cable internet provider in westwood/310 area

Just moved to westwood LA, right beside UCLA and need internet before school starts. Anyone can point me in the right direction?

when I lived in the dorms at ucla they had T1 connection throughout the dorms. Not sure of the brand that they used but for the most part down in the LA area I believe Time Warner seems to do the best. At least that's what I currently have and works well

When it comes to cable, you don't get a choice. It comes down to whatever provider is in your area.

Agreed. Its either 1 cable company or some DSL package with a phone company. Direct TV also offers fast internet service, but costly. Take your pick!

I was thinking of the verizon Fios fiber optic thingy. Anyone have experience with it?

That's the best thing out there if you can get!!! With out a question phone, Internet and TV the tv is awesome the HD rocks and its new it will only get better
