When is myspace going to get shut down? It's nothing but a place for **** companies to advertise and for old @ss perverts to get their jollies off.

^ that is true. But honestly what is the point of Myspace? I never go there to check it out really because I always though of it a high school kids place but I have come to see a couple of co-workers that have a page there.

 

i have one b/c well im out of h/s and im moving away from all my friends..........so even if we change cells numbers i can still find them. and talk to them.......

I'll admit, I like myspace. (but don't tell anyone!) I REFUSED to get it, or all those other stupid sites like facebook for YEARS cuz I thought they were lame and for tards.

But since I moved to the opposite coast and my sister has them for college, she convinced me to make a myspace last spring cuz its so much easier to talk to her with it. I think its really fun, its a good place to act stupid and silly, especially when drunk.

That said, I still haven't told my 3 best friends I have one cuz they'll make fun of me hehehe. I bet they all have them and haven't told anyone too.

So yeah, Myspace might be stupid (and have a good amount of spammers) but its fun. meh. who cares. just have fun.

In all seriousness, the only reason I have one is for friends I grew up with. At 40, we don't go driving 50-300 miles to see each other so this is how we keep in touch every now and then. I figure I check it once a week or so to see if anyone's in my area. Most of my friends have kids so coming out to my neck of the woods isn't practical.

 

yeah, the only thing its good for is staying in touch w people you might not be around, or talk to that much....mainly ex-gf's, girls you wanna bang, friends that moved, or friends you dont see often.

ok so all of you haters can hate but when it comes down to it MYSPACE is one of the best places to advertise due to it being free and not only that you can get in touch with tons and tons of new people and meet new people. but its ok coming from some one that wants to hate i understand....i never wanted a myspace but because alot of clubs and recording artists have them i thought i would give it a try...what am i loosing...and as for me being in high school thats cute... dont hate on those kids...if daddy wants to buy them their cars so be it...more power to them... i mean ur talking about the z as if its an exotic car....i love my z to death but come on guys lets grow up a little...i am in college if you were wondering...
