Default Coming to San Diego need some help

So im going to be coming to San Diego on sunday. Hopefully arriving somewhere in the mid-afternoon. My girlfriend is coming with me so I dont really want to be hitting up Mickey D's, becuase this is like a mini-vacation (I work on weekends, so we never get to go anywhere). So I need a semi-nice restaurant recommendation, and something to do afterwards. I'm gonna do the whole watch the sunset on the beach thing. I spent 8 months in San Diego in 2005, but had the pleasure of being confined to the Marine Corps Recruit Depot LOL, so I have no idea what restaurants are good, and what to see. I'm planning to go to the San Diego Zoo on Monday afternoon after my medical appointment at Naval Medical Center Sand Diego, so that is already taken care of. Thanks in advance...

Mike

Anthony's fish grotto right on the bay.

Then go for a walk down to seaport village and watch the sunset from there. (just walk down harbor drive)

I wont be at work (naval med center) next week, or I would say stop by before or after your appointment

Fish tacos in OB - it's a hole in the wall called South Beach Bar & Grill. Not to mention it's cheap too...

Harbor Fish and chips, up in Oceanside. Nick with the MS3 is also down that way right now.

I went to Boomerang's on Clairemont Drive for the first time last night. The restaurant can be a little tricky to find but it's a great place!

Some good reviews here:
