Hey guys I just saw this shift **** in one of the members posts for EDO performance ( they make custom CF interior peices for the 350z ) and I saw in one of the pictures that they had for shift panel peice there was this black shift **** that looked very nice. I was just wondering is that shift **** for automatic 350zs? if it is, anyone know the name and where I can get that same shift ****? I contacted edoperformance he is the guy who posted the thread but there was no response from him.


Theres the picture of the shift ****. The panel looked like it was taken off an automatic 350z so, and I would love to purchase that same panel the black one but didn't see one for sale at EDOperformance.com if anyone can help me I will be very greatful. Thanks.

 

didn't know there was a big difference between AT/MT but it looks like an MT **** to me...g/l though if that is for AT that looks hot!

 

yea I am pretty sure that picture was off a automatic 350z so I am pretty sure that is an automatic shift **** and I wanna know where I can get that ****. It looks really really really really nice just the look I want to get for my Z.

uhh that looks like MT...

 

the manual transmission doesn't have the ring that sticks out like that. only the automatic does. Here is a picture of the manual 350z.

I just seriously doubt that is a picture of an 5AT Z, if thats not what your asking then im sorry im tired.

 

I dunno but I just want to know where that shift **** is from cause it looks really nice and IF it is for an automatic than I am definitely getting it. also interested in the shift panel in black but the guys at EDOperformance isn't responding so =/ was asking here if the good folks at socal knows anything about this.

 

if you're talking about that silver ring around the shift boot, my 06 has it and i have a 6 MT

 

Check out Mrpratt, his was an auto I think and he did a conversion to make it look like a stick

just buy the dashboard piece for the manul **** with shift boot and put it on there. I had an automatic years ago and bought the surrounding piece that goes on the manual and has the shift boot and it looked like a manual to everyone that looked at it.

that was years ago tho. Don't know if nowadays it would be considered "rice" to try and make an automatic look like a manual

 

Did you try to call EDO Performance? Look up their website. They aren't on the forums all the time, so may be slow to respond to PM. I just bought a Braille battery from them and the service was very good and fast.

 

thats an auto... when they photoshopped the background black, they took out the corner of the button that is viewed.

 

Well I'm not trying to make my car look manual. I think you guys got the wrong idea. I used to have my shift **** like matts with the boot and everything but I didn't like the momo shift ****. I just want that shift **** because it looks really clean with the boot. besides my momo **** broke so =/ I will give EDO a call and see whats going on. THANKS GUYS FOR YOUR HELP!
