damn Allen. Glad you are alive man. Sucks to hear about that bastard that got away. Reminds me one time I got really pissed off at my friend. We drove by an accident scene and next thing you know, one car involved int he accident goes flying by us. I was like "dude, that fackers running we need to chase him!" My friend was a punk and wouldn't. I really wish i was driving. My main point is i hate bitches like that too. Fcking cowards.

Oh, and i'm pretty sure that's a total lost. Not only do you have major front and rear end damage, you probably have chasis flex, drivetrain damage, and motor damage since the truck went up on your motorbay.

He was going that fast when he rammed you? You're lucky to be alive. I too don't understand how he was able to drive away. Glad you're ok.

Dang man sorry this happened, but at least you did walk away. Hope everything works out and they catch this guy that did it! Maybe there is some near by traffic cameras that caught something? If everything works out and your insurance does pay, I would look into a NISMO edition, those are very nice in PPW.

That was a brutal impact. Glad you come out walking. Car should be total from the way it looks. Good luck on everything.

Your insurance company should be responsible for the
added value of the parts. State Farm hooked me up and
covered costs of all upgrades w/o a rider! I would have
a chat with your adjuster, and then send him a list of parts
you bought. Stick to your guns. The insurance company
OWES you. IMHO - that thing is DONE.

Thanks for the kind words everybody. I just woke up right now...and damn i'm sore as hell haha. At least I can say still wake up and chat with you fine people huh? Hmm..with all my parts on my car, i don't think the insurane will cover them. I have receipts for a few parts, but the rest of them, i picked up from other forum members. SO i guess i'm SOL, but it's a small price to pay in my opinion. Anyways, i have hartford (just switched from mercury), and i have no idea how they handle these things. I'll keep you guys posted on what's going to happen with everything. Thanks again!

Damn that's hard to look at. Sorry for your misfortune.

Did the highway patrol say anything about possible use of traffic monitoring cameras on the freeway? Might be worth looking into to help id the truck.

Um...the CHP didn't mention anything about that. I don't think there were any at the specific point on the freeway. I'm going to call in about a week, and see if the local police found the car or anything.

Ya well thinking about the incident, since the car was tailgating allen for a while, maybe the traffic monitors might catch something from a few miles back..
anyhow, after this incident it makes me wonder if modifying cars is worth the money...

Darn....glad your okay..

i say, anything thats yours on the car take it from the impound lot before the insurance claims your car...I would remove seats, wheels, interior pieces, etc...all of that is yours...get a new Z and sell or keep what you want..
