Default Need engine work done in San Diego/So. Cal.

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good shop/individual to re-build my engine. I need to replace the pistons/rings/valves... I would greatly appreciate your input. Thanks.

I would go with scott from Relentless, or GTM in Rancho Cuca.

in SD you have SFR and if you want to take a trip up in the Riverside area you can go to GTM.

Although its 100 miles, you don't want to go to a random shop for something this important. Go to a shop with a good rep, that will stand behind their service. With something of this magnitude, trust me, do it right the first time

The drive isn't all that bad...i do it every weekend lol

Just to add another source for getting a quote, try San Diego Superchargers (don't know if they are still around for sure). My dad took his Firebird there years ago. He works on every type of car. He can do simple jobs to fully built engines. They are in Lakeside.
