make sure you check with your insurance company and see if they will give you a discount for having lojack.

man i dont recommend it , imo. had it on two of my vehicles and even upgraded to the early warning system, the bmw would alert me saying it was stolen when i was standing near it and nothing was wrong, my 350z i tested the early warning system and the p.o.s wasnt even working. just get some lojack stickers and buy a paging alarm system...lol.

lojack is old news.. I'm looking into getting a 'gps tracking' system. they alert you when the vehicle moves out of certain parameters, and also sends text to multiple email address+cellphone. you can configure all that.. only downside is that it seems to have a monthly fee... trying to see if there are ones without this fee.

my roommate has a copy of my car key in case i lose mine so she was going to play a prank on me and have one of my friends move my car (she can't drive stick) and my friend told her no because he knew I had lojack and would report it stolen. Lojack prevents pranks!!

get the early warning system, that is what I got in my ZR, you can have up to 5 phone numbers and they will inform you when your car has been moved.

Lojack will come and intall for you.

call them for local dealers. They will come to you and install it. I had mine installed while I was at work. Took about 20 minutes
