Default West Covina Nissan service -1 Performance Nissan service +2

Yesterday, I was driving up to LA when three lights came on. ABS, TCS OFF and SLIP. My ABS unit was also not turning off and by this morning, it had cycled on and off all through the night and was very hot to the touch. I took it into West Covina and the lady at service wanted to charge me a labor hour just to find out what was wrong with my car. I've always heard good things about WC nissan and that many sales people from Perf Nissan want to WC. I was pretty disappointed as I've never been turned away for any type of warranty work.

I called a couple different places today and no one had time to see my car. I have to be back in SD by tomorrow night so i took it to where i bought the car. Found out the ABS unit and sensors were bad so they are replacing it. Parts won't come in till tuesday so they got me in a rental Frontier till then.

I'm not trying to discredit WC Nissan but the service i recieved left me with the impression that all they cared about was making money even tho my car is still covered under bumper to bumper warranty. The reason they wanted to charge me an inspection fee was because my car has never been to that dealership for any service and they needed a new record of my car. I hope that my next experience with WC Nissan is a more pleasent one since i've been recommended a lot of my friends with Nissans to go there. Maybe it's just the parts team that is A+.

I got nothing but good service from WC Nissan. maybe you went to a wrong dood. Matter of fact, I think nissan dealers, in general, took it up a notch. I went to Mossy nissan in oceanside and got top quality service. free inspection plus car washed spotless.

Careful! Expect Internet Brands to censor your opinion based on experience!!!

Ask for Felipe, hes been very helpful to me with my oil consumption tests. After Douglas nissan in HB charged me for labor to do the oil consumption test when I am still on warranty, and asked me to take off my front bumper because my car is to low supposedly, i told them to shove it and went straight to WC. Ever since then, the drive out to WC is worth it every time i go.
Maybe you just talked to the wrong person.

doesnt matter who you talk to, point is, you shouldn't have to ask for anyone specifically to get good service. Never had a problem at Performance Nissan, and they never charged me the first time i took my car in for warranty service. Maybe because I always had my oil changed there, but I have never had service problems at Performance.

Ouch that sucks. Had a different experience at WC nissan last time I went, but it was nonetheless average. Tim at performance nissan treats us really well. You should try going up there next time.

Wait - what's Performance Nissan have to do with this thread?

All I read was WCN charged me inspecting fees under warranty.

Why not make the thread WCN service -1, OC Nissan +10, Buena Park Nissan +9 and a half.

Nope, just multiple bad experiences with Performance and a mediocre one with WC. I guess that is what to expect of them by hiring low-buck grease monkeys.
