I was told once that the dealer did something to fix it one someones car even though they had test pipes and exhaust. I've just always been too lazy to bring it up there. Keep us informed on what the dealer does.

Hi guys,

Yes, its definetly because of an air leak in the exhaust.

Cracks or a bad gasket will do it really easy.

I checked mine a few weeks ago and it was all fine. I guess I need to take a better look.

i took it to the dealer and they raised the car in the air... i could see the crack in the pass side cat and hear the air escaping (ticking sound).... the sensor that went off is on the pass side as well so.....

i would not have known the cat was cracked... it didnt make an obvious noise just driving around and the car didnt drive any different.

I'm about to put mine up on ramps in the front yard. I checked a few weeks ago, but I swear I didn't hear or see a leak.

i originally had nismo and berks hfcs.. i then took off the nismo and put the stock exhaust back on but left the berks on... i drove around with stock/berks for about a month before the SES light came one, which was most likely due to the berks cracking... tim@performance actually said that the bracket might have been the cause of the cracking but i dont know if i believe that... but then again....
