Default For all you fellow Costa Mesans

Last night, I couldn't sleep so I had a few shots of my VOX vodka for a nightcap. It's about 2:00 in the morning or so. I'm on Ebay, looking up some **** and listening to music. Then I hear this really loud noise, which sounds like 2 cars colliding head on. I walk out my apartment on Bay street, and I see my neighbor's white Toyota pickup truck... ON THE FREAKIN sidewalk! The driver side is ALL focked up...

It was parked on the side of the street, and some guy hit the truck SO hard that it landed entirely on the sidewalk. The truck knocked down the traffic sign, and only stopped after it hit a tree. There's a bottle of corona lying next to the truck (apparently, the drive was drinking it and threw it out his window, through the passenger side. As he leaned over, he lost control and slammed into the parked car). Also, there is a entire wheel, from the hit and run driver's car lying on the street, along with other debris like cracked plastics. I lift up the wheel, and see that the entire brake/caliper is STILL stuck to the wheel! LOL! He ran away from the scene in his car... driving on 3 wheels!

The police came soon after, and found the hit and run driver's car a block away. Of course he couldn't drive it.

Anyway, that was some crazy ****! Thank GOD I have a garage!

Lucky you don't park on the street. I drink VOX too. I love a good VOX Cosmo.

Hey OC350Z... I love VOX! I think it actually tastes better than Kettle One, Grey Goose, Belvedere, etc.

How do you think VOX compares to those listed?

VOX is pretty damn good. I would have to say it's right up there with Grey Goose. The VOX bottle is really cool so I think it wins. You drink it straight? Chilled? I like a good Cosmopolitan made with with Cointreau not Triple Sec

Hah! Stranger than fiction . Anyhow, glad nobody got hurt. That guy should have his license permanently revoked. Somehow I don't think drivers ed is gonna do him much good.

Yup... on our street you can still see the deep scratched lines on the asphault... Which is probably from his missing wheel area.
