Jawbone II

Fits perfect in your ear and you can't hear MOST of the background noise.

I have the Jawbone II. It's my first piece so I can't really compare it to anything. Unlike most, I only wear this thing to talk. People who walk around with them on all day like it's jewelry are douche bags, IMO. If I want to talk, I put it on. When I'm done, I take it off.

Pros:
1) small and light--hardly know its there
2) adjustability--comes with several ear loops, some you can wear with glasses and different sized ear buds
3) battery life is nice
4) no large obnoxious blinking led light
5) Style, comes in several different colors; the buttons are concealed; no huge emblem or logo on the side
6) I've never had a problem with clarity in hearing or communicating to another person while using this--even driving with the windows rolled down

Cons:
1) so small and light, you can forget its there
2) even with all the optional ear loops and buds, the end piece is supposed to rest on the side of your face. I have a round'ish face and had to bend the ear loops for about two trying to get it to sit right on my face
3) syle--I'm not big no the "knurled" pattern
4) price--even at a "discount" of $65 (regular price at around $130) it's pricey for what it is
5) the buttons are concealed and can be tricky trying to find it while it's on your ear

*hope this helps

I use a Plantronics Discovery 655. I have had several other models in the past and this one is the best so far. 2 cons: 1. It doesn't have a loop, which is a plus, but some people find it hard to keep in while talking; comes with different sizes of ear buds and finding the right size will likely resolve this for most ppl. 2. It breaks fairly easily if you drop it. The earpiece will still work, but you'll have to replace the part that holds the ear bud in place. It comes with extras as part of each ear bud.
