Default Anyone willing to take me for a spin??

Hey there...now I've heard it a million times already about what I'm missing out on by having the 5AT. Anyone out there with the track package in the San Fernando Valley area who would be willing to take me for a spin? (I'm curious what I'm missing out on). Thanks!!

You could always drive up to a dealer in your 5AT and tell them you really shoulda bought the 6MT, and want to test drive one in case you want to do a trade-in.

with a name like tatiana and asking to be taken for a ride? I figured that would bring the leg-humpers out for sure. Just a girl posting and they are all over it. I guess when the greace hits the skillet they don't know how to react.

Anyways, I would suggest, as is mentioned earlier, hitting up a dealership under the pretense of purchacing and getting a test dirve from them or (for the leg-humpers ) maybe planning a vacation to Texas and driving one around here....LOL

So now that you've seen the difference, what do you think about the two as far as the ride goes ?

I've driven the 5AT and compared to my TRACK it's a totally different experience. The 6MT is a Beast.

Now you need to come to one of the monthly runs in the canyons.

iLLestJrz is usually at them he can show you the ropes.

Driving the two is almost like driving two different cars...except I know where the controls are! The 6M transforms the car into a sports car. When I hopped back into my car after it felt like such a cruiser (which for my daily drives is fun). It did make me realize though what a difference the manual tranny with a few mods can do! Keep me informed on the canyon runs!

but you'll wish you never had a manual if you sit in LA traffic a lot not sure if any of the AT guys have, but there is places that can change your shifting points on an auto that will make it a little more fun like a stick though, (place is on the tip of my tongue) but i am sure someone else knows the name of it.. torque converters.. (doh)
