Default Need advice on where to get AT Mods performed

So I am looking to get a shift kit, I suppose TransGo is the only real option installed in my 04 Touring somewhere in SoCal but the problem is I have called many of the "recommended" shops and so far I get answers like...

PerformanceZ - "We wont work on Auto Transmissions"
GT Motorsports - *Crickets* (They didn't even answer the phone)
Corner 3 Garage - "Yeah, we have done 2 or 3"

and so on...

I know that shift kits and AT are not as popular as MT, but there has to be someone who knows someplace that will accept my Z with open arms right? I hear great things about Corner 3, but I am not comfortable with the answer of only doing a couple of them. Im looking for a specialist.

No, doing a MT swap is not an option.

Do you have a rear lsd diff with a 3.5, 3.69, or 3.9 final drive? Should start there.

Yeah you have a 3.3 fd you should just scoop up a manual vlsd pumpkin with gears and you'll have 3.5 fd. It's not a major difference but you'll for sure gain some acceleration.

Although 3.3 isnt great, it sure beats the stock 2.73s I had in my F-Body :P

I wasn't looking for acceleration mods though, Im looking for crisper shifts.

Reach out to Seb at SpecialtyZ in Chatsworth. They installed my transgo a few years ago. http://www.specialtyz.com/

Don't bother with GTM - they are going through a bunch of issues right now.
