I'm on vacation on the east coast so I'll come by to check them out when I come back in 2 weeks.

Derek,

You should buy my wheels Though they are not 20s ... they are extremely agressive and look fantastic on a G35c THey got great tread left on the near new GS-D3s

Josh ... these would alleviate your traction problem for sure ....

... perfect condition ... just no use for em anymore.

It's somewhat tempting, yeah, it'll solve my traction problems, but on the flip side, I'm worried about the performance drop with the 19's...

Jim's rims are nice. Definitely look good on silver.

Not really much considering you are coming from some heavy stock wheels to start with. Given the significant amount of traction you will gain from these ... both straight line and cornering .. I am sure you'll be happy.

Plus .. this will finally make your Z stand apart from 95% of the stock Zs on the road

you too can look like this

I'll hook ya up with a good deal Josh

Yeah, I can understand that...most of the time, all I hear when I try to take off is "dut, dut, dut, dut, dut, dut, dut, dut, dut..." as the tires are trying to find traction. But damn, those 19"s cost about $350+ per tire...yikes!

Tires are $200-275 each if you look around. So they are 20% more than 18s of the same width. 19s have become a LOT more popular of late, and tires are now much easier to come by.

Josh, you know how my car took off when I drove you in it. No traction issues at all.

Look ... you buy em and if you don't see a tenth or better off your 0-60 .. give em back for a full refund

Not to take this issue off topic, but I've often wondered whether your Z was unusually faster than others. You said you trapped @ 105 in stock form? And stayed level with a E46 M3? Pretty damn fast if you ask me.

Back on topic: I'll definately consider it, but you also have to keep in mind that I have the stock brakes (non-Brembo) and I wonder how deceleration will be affected by having these heavy 19's.

I guess bottom line, I'm a darkhorse candidate as opposed to a "for-sure" buyer...you're talking to a man that is about to expire his warranty and is saving up for a TN kit!

I have non-Brembos on my Z with 19s. Keep in mind that last weekend at Turbonetics I had my brakes SMOKING hot and they didn't fail...

Repost.

As much as I'd hate to do it, I'm selling my Amuse exhaust. $1600 Fred, Chad...Bueller? Fits a G35 coupe.

You know you want it.

Haven't heard from Anson, but I did talk to Charles a little while ago and told about my car. He said Oregon is great and he may not come back......., Nah he just said he misses his G and hopes to come back down here soon. Just send him a pm. It takes a couple of days for him to reply, but he's always lurking on the boards somewhere.

Later,

Yes I do. What condition is it in and how much? I'm talking with someone from up north right now that has a spare engine, but it was pulled from a car that was in a head on collision. He wants $1,500.00 and it needs some replacement parts. P.M. me and let me know, or call me. And Andy, I think Charles' G is still in his garage down here if I'm not mistaken.

Later,

Ray

Well ... let me know. Given the chance to do my Z all over again. I would do wheels/tires, coilovers, turbo. In that order.

It takes $10k to make the perfect street Z ... and I guess it really doesn't matter how you get there .. just as long as you do. I'd rather look good and grip right on my way to the top than to have a high-powered uncontrollable traction isssue until I upgraded again but thats just me
