For the guys that weren't there or racing..
The weather was pretty cool.. I think it was in around 55º or lower the whole time we were there, so it was cold. So we could not catch traction at all, if our life depended on it (especially for those that haven't been to a track before). Compare my best time ever (in my sig) to my best today and you'll see what I mean by how much the weather fcuked us today. I'm sure most of us would have gotten much better results, but oh well. I think we still had fun.
Onto the slips..
My best of the day was:
60' - 2.110 <---- how pathetic is that?
330 - 5.827
1/8 - 8.873
mph - 81.22
1000 - 11.483
1/4 - 13.688 <---- means I could've gotten 13.5 with a better launch
mph - 102.60
I also got my highest ever trap speed of 104.98 mph! I've never trapped so high.. I'm not complaining though.
Feel free to post up your times, make comments, or ask questions.

I had a BLAST!!! You really have a better understanding of your Z when you take it to the track. Traction traction traction it was no were to be found. Still think I did pretty good for the first outing in the Z.

330 - 5.857
1/8 - 8.955
mph - 80.88
1000 - 11.611
1/4 - 13.842
mph - 101.71

Travis, I think you did well, too. With better traction on the track, your 60' would've been around low 2.1 and you'd have hit 13.7.
I am probably going to go back next weekend...down 45 the whole way. B/C we all know that 287 sucks, especially for me, those cops are going to be looking for my windshield now.
60' - 2.182
330 - 5.936
1/8 - 9.033
mph - 80.51
1000 - 11.681
1/4 - 13.932
mph - 100.31
best 60' was 2.167...missed 2nd that run and got out of it at the 1000 and still had a 14.4 at 88.57mph...i was really mad about that run.

I need some more tire in the back.

I may consider going next weekend, just to break in my new clutch and tranny. I won't be racing though. I'll race again after my break in period.

Why not go on the 24th? I can't race on the 17th and I sure as hell aren't gonna watch you guys race while I watch on the stands. I can race on the 24th.
Well Nick posted all over the G35driver forum saying we had 2 dates: the 10th and the 17th. My friend works on Saturdays so he had to take the day off. It's fine if nobody wants to go. I want to go because I want to see what his G35 TT can run.
Edit: I talked to him earlier today and he asked me about Saturday. He was pretty excited and said he might want to start coming to our meets.

Actually, yes, he's right. When I started the thread, I first wanted to go both on the 10th and the 17th and even on the 24th (which I did not mention). Then when I saw that many people were signing up for the 10th, I figured people didn't want to go on the 17th.

Plus I want to see how I can run with new non bald tires.
And you seemed eithe scared or pissed lol when you were riding with me?
Was it something I did?

You're confused man. I wasn't anywhere near your car nor did we talk about riding in it. FYI ***Drinking in the middle of the day is not good for you ***

Well nothing I can do about the date now. My friend took the 17th off so he's stuck on that date. We'll be going even if it's just the two of us. Anybody wants to go again with us let me know.
