Default Just joined the oil consumption crew! :(

I have suspected for awhile that my 06 z has been consuming oil, but didnt really worry about it much until the last oil change. So this time I took it to the dealer (Mossy Nissan) and they confirmed it. I was down a quart and a half in 3,000 miles. I have started the oil consumption test, and contacting Nissan in the morning. I don't drive the car much, so I am not sure how long it will take me to get to 1,000 miles (for the first check). Anyone have experience with Mossy Nissan and Oil consumption?

Don't know about the consumption issue,
but I STAY away from Mossy!
They gave me free oil changes, and I still
pay somewhere else. I do not trust Mossy.
I will never step foot on their lot again.
I had the worst experience there.
Stay away from there.

Wow, you'd think you'd see that much oil burning out your exhaust.

Mossy Nissan is in Houston. I called Nissan yesterday and started a report, we will see what happens. So far the Service manager is being supportive. I married a lawyer, so if worse comes to worse, we will pursue this that way.

Tell me how they treat you over there because I've had a few experiences. One time I went in there and before I could say anything, one of the service writers said, "my volvo will smoke that thing". With a blank look on my face, I said...."Maybe, but you drive a volvo, do you have another service guy"?

and that was that.....what I found strange was when I went back there 3 months later he no longer worked for them.......hmmm.
