rear ended after sitting at light for 30 seconds on Parmer *sigh*
So I'm sitting at a light, with this girl that just got back into town today, heading out to the store. We had been at the light, on the front row, for about 30 seconds at a complete stop. BAM! Some girl in a Cavalier rear ends me, guess she didn't see me stop...30 seconds ago!!! She has insurance at least, but damnit, this is the 5th accident in 10 years of driving, and not one of them has been my fault! I am tired of having tainted cars, I've been so careful to avoid idiots so far, but what can you do at a stoplight on the front fu**ing row?!?!?!
Talk about frustrating.
I had my Eclipse repaired at Rebreu twice, and they did a good job. Any reccomendations from you folks? It looks like just the bumper cover and the foam underneath, so it could have been much worse. Exhaust, unfortunately, appears fine, would have been nice to get an aftermarket exhaust out of it, oh well. I don't like the fact that dealerships just contract out to who will do it cheapest, so let me have your experiences and reccomendations.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune, Rob.
I can empathize w/ you...both my Tundra and S2000 have been hit by others in the last couple of years. Jeff's Auto Body on N. Lamar did both repairs, and they do great work. They're not the fastest shop in town, though, but the wait is worth it IMO.

Rob,
Sorry to hear that. My colleague who has a G35 coupe also was rear ended at a light on Parmar a few weeks ago. She too was stopped, and when the light turned green the car behind her just drove into her without bothering to wait for my colleague to commence driving.
When I had my Z mishap in February, I had the work done at Caliber Collision on North Lamar. My colleague had hers done at Continental Collision, also on North Lamar. Both did a great job, and the paint match on both cars were perfect.

My family and I have been using Jeff's Auto Body for 10+ years. Jeff is GREAT. He takes his time and does the job right. He really cares about getting it right. His shop is on Lamar near the Rose. Check him out.

Not to mention that you can then get something there to take your mind off your Z.

Got the package today. Great hat and keychain, Courtesy Parts is top notch. I keep holding off on ordering the Z Collection stuff through Japanparts.com because they keep saying the NISMO stuff in the US is going to include "apparrel and gear". I'd rather not pay $50 for the door handle style keychain if I didn't have to.

I don't blame you. Do you have a pic of it? We have a lot of the Nismo gagets that we don't have online. I can see if we have it in stock. Let me know, call up there next week I work M-F. My name is Albert.

This is the website I am talking about. The Z collection stuff that you can supposedly only get in Japan. Japanparts sells them at a huge markup, taxes, import fees, then shipping. I priced the cell phone strap, the door handle keychain, and the umbrella and they sent me a quote form Japanparts.com for like $165

I know for a fact that we don't have any of those, but I do know that Nismo will be releasing in June and we will be carrying their products. I will keep my eyes open for new products and let you know.
