Nice setup man. Are you standing on the couch or is it a two story?

It's actually a three story, but I'm just standing behind it with my phone in the air.

Ya know, I didn't like the 3D tv's when I checked them out. I kept seeing a double image. I ended up getting a 55" 6000 series LED instead.

Hell my only trick for working long hours like that is massive doses of caffeine and nictotine lol. I've been know to smoke and dip while holding a can of monster. Stress reliever trick worked though. I just started watching Top Gear and inknocked out around 1230 or 1.

It's def gimmicky, but I have not noticed any double images from 3d Blu rays or from the uverse programs. I know a lot of people has issues with the first gen stuff, but samsung seems to have gotten it right this time. I will say this tv is leaps above the 32 inch samsung led I have in my bedroom.

The one I looked at might have been a first gen then cuz it's been about a year and a half since I checked them out. My samsung was a fluke unit though. My entire screen went out on it a couple of months ago and had to be replaced. The tech said they had to replace things in a certain order so thanks to my warranty I basically have a new tv. He said the only major part not replaced was the speakers lol. He was saying that it was a real surprise that it happened because they are really good tv's and that my problem was just a random anomoly. He actually had the same tv I do.

Ya socom 4 and gran turismo both look great on it. I like the 3d, but I doubt I use it much at all.

If you want to see the tv screen in 3D, yes and of I'm not mistaken, they're kind of pricy.

Ok that's not too bad then. I thought (but probably misremembered) that they were over $100 a pair when I looked at them. Granted, it's been about a year and a half. How much did you pay for your tv if you don't mind me asking? (if you don't wanna say il understand). I've been thinking about getting either a 42" or a 46" for my bedroom. If 3D has gotten better, I think that may not be such a bad idea. I just don't want to spend as much as I did on my 55" non led as it was damn near $2k

I have a 32" 1080p LCD for like $350, but I sit close enough that it feels like a 50"+ would.

3d is cool, but def not necessary by any means and the movies are too damn expensive. I paid right at $1500 for my tv.

I'm just going to wait out the 3D stuff. I'm good with my setup now so I'll wait until it all gets better and cheaper. They will either perfect the 3D tech or it won't sell and they'll kill it.
