Helped Jake and Damon put an LSD in damons car tonight. All went well even though Jake had to play doctor on one of the axle shafts lol. Damon's gonna be the drift king before we know it we got him some practice in tonight at a nice safe spot and hopefully he can get out to some of the drift events to get better.

 

The best part was seeing damons face after the practice session..that alone was worth the extra time it took to get everything puuuurfect!

 

Whatever you need let me know. I'll be out there but not in my car I need to start taking it apart to see what the problem is, hopefully it is just turbo that blew. That way I can send it off to get rebuilt. If it is more than that lord help me.

Jake have fun man. Wish I was going, but boss decided it was best I stayed and worked instead of going with them and being apart of the scene there.

Maybe next year I'll get to go.

 

Your always a such a good guy to help out on all these tough installs with Jake. I'll miss having your hands around here Pat.

It could have been like mine Scott....where one of the axles is longer in your diff....after my quiafe was in one of the axles wouldn't fit since it had a longer one....but I swapped a shorter axles from my 3.3 diff to make it work.

Not sure if that's what they ran into ???

 

Sold the nismo

Got 22.5k for it... so basically I paid 1,500 to drive a nismo around for a year. put 20,000 miles on it too. Turned out really well.

 

 

That's pretty much exactly what we ran in to but instead of using a different shaft we just modified it via the grinder lol

 

awesome - now you have more time for the 300...

Im still trippin it worked... not only did it work - it fit SO BALLER after I was done.. amazing what a 1/4 inch does..

 

What did you use to grind it down with ? ....bench grinder ?

On the other hand...I just tried to go down to the gayborhood area on oaklawn for a halloween party..and it was a NIGHTMARE..I've never been in so much eff'd traffic in my life. Cars parked on both sides of the roads, and than cars driving through the road both ways..the cars were so close to each other driving by that peoples side mirror got knocked off. People were also walking everywhere in front of every car and everything. I got so fed up with it after 30minutes that I just drove back home.

 

I went to zouk got so trashed there were so many hot bitches it was good!!!!!
