Got the car back yesterday and very happy with the results.
I am laughing at the clean car dirty car debate. I liked my car before because it was nice but not so perfect that i worried about every little rock or chip. Now its so shiny I hate to see it get dirty. Overall I would have to side with the cleaners. Always nice to work on relatively clean car.

Thanks guys,
Its nice to have friends who buy carbon fiber so I can have the leftovers.
The hood and hatch definitely help out with covering the deductible.

Alright Scott, finally got her all back and ready for some Auto-X. The Weapons look great with the RS-3's and clean is good. After Stu polished mine I didn't take it out of the garage for a week for fear of it getting dirty.
See you next weekend at Mineral Wells or sooner driving around near me.

I am ready to go racing, bummed I missed aug but not the heat.
The new tires feel real good, cant wait to put them to the test. I should see a nice increase the new bigger tire. My old tires had a lot of runs on them.

That would be ok, I.would still feel like part of the Z family and would still be able to come to events ..... besides, it would.be.a blast to.see my girl kick everyones a$$ !
You would have do it big, but DON'T GET RID OF THOSE RIMS ! I will keep ya'll posted.... I would really like to keep her in the MY 350 Z family if possible .

This is my nifty whip I'm driving around now.
SWEET ! :P. I'm still waiting to get with my CPA to figure out worse case senario. I'm currently flat on my back... lumbar spinal puncture, so I have to stay flat for 24 hours ¦ ( SUCKS ! anyhoo that is when I determine to keep or not to keep. The one prob about selling is its an 06 GT very low miles in excellent cond. but with the credit/butt heads in DC, most bank/loan institutions will only finance for 36 months and that would make for a very high mo payment. So we will have to see.

Yep, I like the STR class, minimal engine mods and pretty open on the suspension end of things. 255 tire is max for the class so tire cost is in check also. RS3 255/17 $130 bucks.
The s2000 is looking strong for the class this year, last year miata's were strong. I dont think the Z will ever be top of the class though. A lot of people have their cars(2000 mx5...) set up for STR in the DFW area and it gives me a baseline of were I am at.
I like to be competitive but not enough to give up the Z.
Hows Chicago treating ya?
If I have a long overnight stay in Chicago I'll have to give ya a shout and go have a beer.

Well, if you end up interested if I must sell, let me know. I know how Edmunds and Kelly values it but I've already decided that if a forum member wants to buy...I will.give discount on her.
Just and FYI.... IF there are any Mopar peeps out there that are not too far from the garland area... The is a huge car show near the downtown of garland.... It's on Garland rd between Miller rd and ave D (better known as Forest ln or 66) and its free and opens at 10 am and.goes all day.

I like your car too much to pass on the chance to buy it if you have to sell.
Consider me interested Jody

When you say open, what do you mean by that? I thought in STR, you couldn't have any suspension mods other than maybe camber kits and sways?
In Chicago, we have these 3 370Zs (each piloted by drivers on their 2nd year of autox) and these guys are FAST. I mean, I did pretty well in DFW with my regular street tires but I can't touch these guys at all on my R-S3s. I'm sure being in a newer Z helps, but it's not just the car. There's another 350Z in BSP and he's real fast, too. These Chicago guys don't play around.
If you ever come up here during the warmer weathers, bring your Z and check out the local autox talents.
