I got back to work on the car..Finally got my gasket stuff that I wanted and ordered just for this project..

Finished the upper oil pan, and headers have been on but I dont know if I ever posted pics..

Now Im going to wait and let it cure for 24 hrs...then everything can be put back together...I cant wait either..I lust for a ride in my car.. Wonder what she will sound like with the headers...crawford HFCs, Megan Y, and Greddy Ti Single..

i have the worst luck ever with cops... tonight i parked at my friends apartment for 3 min at 11:15 pm to give him money for tickets to this weekends football game (A&M Whoop) and i come out at 11:17 to find a ticket on my car because i parked in the handicap spot so i could run in and out..... FML

I roll with rotas and Mb battles. Rotas are my track wheels, and have held up perfectly. no way i would spend 3k on wheels and then track them...unless i was a pro.............and sponsored. and rich....

Not yet, I was hoping to swap a antenna amp to see if it fixes the reception before i buy one. 40 -70 bucks used on ebay.

 

scott, you can HAVE my "antenna amp". i dont think i've EVER listened to the radio in my car....

Scott....you'll have to show me where that is so I can check it out. I took out that molded styro-foam and didn't see anything that looks like an amp.


I will check with my Warranty....I believe that the radio is covered under it.

The amp sits right behind the antenna location in the trunk. You have to take off the side trim that is above the styro foam on the drivers side. remove the rear center trim, then the right upper side trim in the trunk. Then you can pull a couple of holding plugs and see behind it to were the amp is. That lower center trim piece is supposed to have a plug that is hidden behind the trim of the wheel well arch but mine slide right out without remove any other pieces of trim

The amp is factory piece, are you talking about your extend warranty?

 

ya Scott - you can have mine too - I still have factory presets on the radio...hook it up with 87.7 static!

Ok, I'll take a peak up there when I get home tonight.

And yes my extended warranty list the radio as being covered since it is oem.
It is good until March of 2012 or 82k I have 62.5k so I will run out on time first. It has been a good purchase....I have used it several times and I'm sure it has paid for itself thankfully !

 

i'm sure it is. i get radio, i just dont listen to it, and i've never taken it out.. i have a double din unit, but i'm assuming the antenna amp is still in tact in the car.
