HFCs for this application do have a bad rep. However, I've had Ultimate Racing HFCs on my car the 3+ years I've owned it (in addition to the previous owner driving with them) and they are still fine.

And they sound great with the Nismo cat-back.

 

Not sure if you guys have been watching the new about the fires in and around Austin. I am gathering any donations or items that may be needed (blankets, pillows, toiletries, diapers, animal food, water, ect.) for the residents of Austin and driving down Saturday morning to drop it off. I'm renting a cargo van and would like to have it full of items by Saturday. I know good friends down in Austin that know people who have been affected by these fires. So every little bit counts.

Relatives house had the fire come within .7 miles. They evacuated for a night I think. This was the smaller one by Steiner Ranch.

 

Quick update on the Z. The Haltech and most of the CJM fuel system with dual pumps has been installed. Working on gauges now. Getting close to boost . Official move in date is the 24th finally!!! Luckily I don't have to much to move. Gonna be nice to meet all guys.

 

Hey Jeremiah, does your shop have any HFC's for a good price?

 

I think we have the Berk Technology ones in stock. Not sure on price, will ask Robert what we can sell them for, if we do have them.

 

Ok cool. I may pick those up if one of my cats is blown. I know those have the brackets, and I think that's better. Especially since my whole exhaust is severely lacking in mounting points right now. I leave this Monday for school, so I'd have to buy local if there's any chance I could get them on in time.

Gotta get a crooked 22 wrench now.

Hey Z-S, thanks for the kind thoughts and you know what...... We did go and we had a blast ! I was bummed that I didnt see any of us NT peeps there. He was looking forward to meeting some of you and for you all to see his car in a bit better condition then it had been in the past. Otherwise we meet some really nice folks, there were mostly 240-300 Zs there. 6 or 8 350s which from what I understand rolled with a group of 300s from San Antonio ????????? Hell of a drive, and they were there before we were and that was about 8 ish.

Met Mad Mike Taylor, he was there with his Nismo. Signatures up the rear end on that car. He offered to take the book Z-CAR Revival of a Legend with him to Japan in November and have it personally autographed by the one and only Mr K (Yutaka Katayama) that was definitely a nice surprise.

So thank you so much for your support. It was really fun driving back side by side with him in his car. Hope to have more of those moments.
