did the same thing myself about a year ago when i was removing the light smoke from my fronts...left it on a little too long, you'll have to wet-sand for an hour or so each headlight; assorted grits, i thought it was impossible to fix but i kept sanding and it came off, bloody knuckles and all but it will come off. Then hit them with plastic-x and lube

Get the AAL from wheelersoffroad.com and when you call, also ask them to buy their longer u bolts...thats where i got mine...

They are $77.50...see here: http://www.wheelersoffroad.com/titandstrlift.htm

Also, dont forget you need the spc toe/camber bolts - (Special Products Company - sold at O-reilly autoparts as Oreilly p/n 87520).

you need 4 total, 2 per side in the front.

What is this a Titan site now ? Lol

Hey Jake, the Diff works great ! I love the feel around the corners and much better handling & power as well.....But I still got beat by Gavin & Scott. not by a ton though like it used to be...but still behind them both.

I would like to still get that whin out of the gears tho !

Yes sir I changed the fluid....small amounts of shavings stuck on the magnetic bolt. Maybe a pinch or two at most. Is that a concern ?

Damn, wish I could go. Not a fan or anything, but sounds like fun.

I would think that very small amounts would be considered normal, especially when you're breaking them in from new. Also, I don't think your whine's going to go away so start getting used to it.

I wish you were down this way to ride with me and hear it....from what I have read online, you should be able to have very little noise from it.
I believe that it is louder than it should be....until a confirmed source tells me otherwise I will look into getting it fixed.

Here is what was on the plug.

I like meeting new forum people and I haven't met you guys yet. I do wish I could go, but I'm about a thousand miles away in Chicago.

My current roommate's a DJ, too, so he would've been all over that. And for those that remember, it's not the female roommate from last year.

That seems like a little more than I'd like, but it could be the fact that the shavings are from your parts being brand new, which is why you're supposed to change out the oil sooner for the first fluid change.

And yeah, I wish I could hear it, too. After putting in the solid diff bushings, there was definitely more noticeable NVH for me. I'm sure that with solid subframe bushings, shorter gears, and a real LSD ontop of the diff bushings, the NVH is even more noticeable, though.
