Bushings Baby,
The Diff. bushing looks good. It has a small shoulder on each side so once its in it should stay there.
So Chris, Adam how does tue evening sound for the diff. bushing?

Dang, how many bushing's did you get ? I see a ton of them.
What time do you want to start ? Also do you have a bunch of Drill bits and a Saw-Zall ? It will take a bunch of Crap to get out that center bushing. There is a reason why they want you to replace the whole sub-frame with the bushing in it....it isn't made to be removed.
Is Jake coming out to help ? Because it is a Biotch to get out. I relied on Jake to muscle that thing out. Still don't know how it comes out....only that you have to drill, saw and bang the shiet out of it to have it come out.
But we'll get it out !

Instead of Urethane ones ? You know something we don't ?

Instead of Urethane ones ? You know something we don't ?I am keeping the Car STR class legal (Dont know if all ever get that series but It will be legal). STR does not allow solid bushings so staying with urethane. If it keeps the noise down a bit thats a plus too since I drive it daily.
Made up a bushing puller today. So I'll give it a try before resorting to the cut out method.
So if Tue works I'll have the car up and drive shaft out during the day so whenever you can make it over would be good. I have a sawzall but its pretty cheap. You might bring yours along just in case. Thanks

On that note of breaking in motors....I turned to 64k this weekend !
Got a brand new Bose head unit from the dealership under my warranty and the reception is much better now.
Thats all the bushings for the front, rear suspension and Diff.

let us know how that rig works......I had a similar one with grade 12.9 bolts and that method was a pain....
cutting is way way easier and having done it a few times i can do it in under 3 mintues and out!
