Looking for a good body shop for my wife's Altima. We need hail damage and a couple dings fixed. We already have check from insurance and have to supply their estimate to the shop.

Anyway, who knows of a local shop that will do good work in a timely manner?

 

Wasn't there some place where a guy named Jose worked there and they did lots of show cars? Someone had PPW, and this guy matched it perfectly.

 

Isn't white supposed to be the hardest color to match? The guy I've used is a really good guy but I can't in good consciousness recommend him. One because he's way too far for Eric (garland) and two I haven't been completely happy with his work. He didn't match the blue quite good enough (could be because my paint is getting pretty old though), two he took like 10 days for a headlight and front bumper and three the paint has started to flake off a little on the front bumper around the bottom of the bumper where the black plast insert meets the actual bumper.

 

Yep, I think PPW is hardest because I want to say it's multi stage with the pearl and stuff.

I've heard that any white is difficult to match though just because there are so many shades of white and it's fairly easy to see a slight difference in shades on the body pieces if they aren't matched correctly.

 

Its a 3 stage process....

you can download the nissan paint code manual, then correlate it with any autobody paint book and it will detail the process..

This is his truck - he just got this paint job - its unique... but you can at least tell they do good work..

We are supposed to have a pretty nasty snow storm Monday and Tuesday. Weather channel is saying 4-12 inches with white outs and blowing snow and snow drifts. That's gonna suck to work in lol
