Ever do the PPW on a Z?

 

Yes I have. Did a tourren front and wing. Its same as ip on g35. It's a tricoat so when you panel shoot it you can get as close as you can but will never exactly match. Too many variables that throw color off. My r1 is a 5 stage
Paint. Oriental blue candy over hok cosmic chrome. To get the chrome effect I
Had to paint all the panels gloss black first

Yes they are different just meant both are Tricoats. If you are shooting a panel you can blend the color to the next panel to get the color close. But for bumpers and sides most people don't want to pay to blend so we get as close as you can. The reason bumpers and sides are different color from factory is they are usually painted a different time and plant from car

 

I hear ya. I eventually need to repaint my passenger fender and would most likely do the front bumper at the same time. I've got Nismo sides and rear add-ons still sitting new in box too. This is all on the back-burner for now though.

My april schedule sucks, All weekends except for the 27,28(DE here I come). We'll see what works for our schedules.
