If you are dead set on a 315 then go with the 11" wheel, but you could run a safer (as in fitment) size in a 10.5" wheel with a 295/35/18 Nitto Invo. I just upgraded my tires to the Invos and the 275 grips a million times better than the all seasons I had on before. Different tire of course, but you get what I'm saying. There are other options of course, but that's my suggestion based on personal experience.

Sounds like a winner to me. Is that on the TE37 with +22 offset? Is that a 35 series or 30 series tire? Those variable will make a difference.

On another note Jake... there's a guy that posted in another thread somewhere looking for factory suspension parts to use for an engineering project for school. I believe his screen name is "lemiller". I told him to contact you. That would be a great way to offload alot of that stuff.

I like that, all around it sounds like its a bit cheaper too, good info, while its cool to be able to say I'm rockin 315 in the back I'm looking for grip and this might do it for me with some nittos. That should be able to hold 400WHP, thanks

R1 I will be coming to you for a fender roll

Scratch everything I said. LOL

I don't know about the Invo holding 400rwhp. There aren't really any street tires that will. Ask Nexx about that.

I do know that there are ALOT of guys with the new camaros running Invos because they are considered (among them anyway) the best bang for your buck tire. They offer great grip wet and dry and are alot cheaper than equivalent tires.

Ilya would be a great source of info on all of this. He's got the power and will be able to tell you from experience.

On another note... for the guys that do autoX. What brake pads are you guys running. I'm thinking of ordering some Hawk HPS to run on the street as well as autoX days. I've just got the factory 03-05 non-brembo brakes.

I use HP PLUS for Track Days - and Centric Low Dust/Noise for DD duty - allstar - i would suggest simply swapping pads, a set for track day and a set for daily -

i also think your going to want to reference your rotor manufacturer as well, I'm not certain all rotors can handle such aggressive pads for any length of time, but i could be mistaken i suppose - aggressive pads however make a shitpotload of difference on stopping - rotors need to get rid of the heat those aggressive pads generate and you don't want them rotors to disintegrate either, i'm not certain, maybe stock rotors are good for whatever though - Subaru stock rotors... not so much -

Skrilla -
My Works are 19x11 and have a +19 offset and sit inside the fender with a 10mm spacer i would think a +22 would sit well inside the fender without an issue and 305 on a 11inch wheel is going to sit flush - i think 1 315 might be a bit much personally on looks as well as necessity - but i think it'll be bad *** just the same

for reference - i need a 15mm spacer to clear the stop techs for daily driving with the 19x11's - i'm not certain that is going to pass the snicker test though once i add those spacers - as i suppose it'll be poking out the side -

i would like to join in on a fender rolling party fwiw -

I use project mu type ns pads and love them they will squeak though. Some of the other guys are using ebc blue pads and seem to like them.

I'm running 305/30r19 nitto invos on rear amazing tires plenty of grip for 400hp no agressive rear camber is needed to fit that I actually feel like there is more room to go wider

This is good to know. I was afraid to praise the invo too much cause I'm only slightly above stock power, but it's great to hear that the invo holds good power.

I believe it's one of the best tire for the price... Only thing is they don't last long

I drive my Z less than 2,000 miles a year now so no worries for me. But even if I drove it alot I wouldn't mind. The invos are affordably priced.

^^ oh jeez - i don't guess you need to worry about swapping brake pads either - doh - you might look into some aggressive rotors and pads as a combo though - EBC, as some mentioned, are pretty widely used -

you should come out to eagles canyon in June we'll get'm broken in
