Hey guys, do you know any vendors or have any hookups for a clear bra for the front of my Z?

 

I would look for the Ferarri, Porsche, or Lambo dealers and ask them for who they use ?

That shiet is really expensive tho.... About $500 - $700 is what I got quoted a long time ago right when I got my new bumper & hood painted.

I guess the real question is, is it worth it?

My plan pretty soon is to retire the Z as my daily and turn her into my road course *****.

 

A LOT of peops are already down that road.. I dont think it would be worth it... I do hit alot of cones during drifting though.. I could care less about cone marks or anything like that. Thats just my opinion though..

I did pretty good not hitting anything on the road coarse.. Ive seen a few Z/G's with them on and after awhile - you can tell the difference on the covered part vs the non covered part..

+1 on what travlee said. Use the painters tape for events. I don't like how you can see the line at the edge of the clear bra. Like Jake said, you can start to see a color difference after awhile. Definitely not worth the money to me... especially for a track car. For the cost of a clear bra I would rather keep a nice clean spare bumper for the street and use my beat up bumper on the track.

 

I thought she was already a Road warrior.....don't worry about the front....Jakes is right....the cones don't do much of anything. Believe me I pound them all the time. Jake has pics to prove it.

Some guys just use blue painters tape around some of the front bumper and wheel well areas.

I don't worry bout paint. That sheit is cheap. I like my cars like my women. No bras if not needed!
